Alicia Harris, Director, Children’s Ministries

Sis. Alicia Harris has been serving the Lord with gladness in Children’s Ministries on and off since 1997, when the Holy Spirit revealed to her that this is one of her spiritual gifts. She is very passionate about pouring the love of Jesus into the hearts of “all the little children of the world.”

In addition to serving the Lord through teaching, she serves Him through spending quality time with and taking care of her much-adored husband (who is also her pastor) and through loving on her children and five grandchildren.

VISION STATEMENT

God’s vision for the St. Paul MBC Children’s Ministries is taken directly from the Word of God in Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

VALUES

The values that God desires us to instill in the children are also taken directly from the Word of God in Galatians 5:22-23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control.”

Children are important in the kingdom of God, and Jesus verbally demonstrated that when He said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them.” – Matthew 19:14

Grades / Sunday School Meeting Times

Session 1: Nursery – 12^th Grade

8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

Session 2: Nursery – 8^th Grade (9^th – 12^th Grade students will join adults in the Sanctuary)

10:00 a.m. – 12 noon
